As part of the 13th National Survey of Older Americans Act Participants, ACL piloted questions about sexual orientation. However, because of small sample size and a large statistical measure of standard error (>30%), the data are not available for viewing or downloading at this time. ACL is working to refine these questions (with other experts in the field), adjust the sample size and obtain an acceptable level of standard error measurement. Once these are accomplished, ACL intends to make data about the sexual orientation of service recipients available.
