Custom Tables provides detailed, multi-year tables for three AoA administrative data sets (State Program Reports, Title VI Services, and the National Ombudsman Reporting System), a collection of annual national surveys of recipients of Older Americans Act services, and three Census databases (American Community Survey Demographic Data, Population Estimates, and Census 2010). Using a step-by-step process you can choose multiple data elements to compare and download in a spreadsheet format. Custom Tables is designed to present you with data elements applicable to your needs and to further refine your results based on demographic stratifiers or geographic locations.
To begin your query, please select the desired database from the list below:

Note: NSOAAP 2016-2019: Error Detected
There is an issue affecting the age group stratification within the National Survey of OAA Participants (NSOAAP) Custom Tables data for the years 2016-2019.
The only affected stratification is “Age Group”, located within the Demographics grouping for the following services: Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Meals, Homemaker, Transportation, and Case Management. The breakout of survey responses and frequencies based on “Age Group” is incorrect and should not be used at this time. No other stratifications are affected by this issue. A correction is expected by the summer of 2021.
Please note that the NSOAAP survey data files located in the Data Files section have the correct age group data.
American Community Survey (ACS) Demographic Data
Population and housing characteristics data from the ACS for the 60 and older population, both individually and by sex and various age groups. Tabulations are produced from the 1-Year Public Use 5% Microdata Sample (PUMS) file.
Population Estimates Data
Provides population estimates from various Census Bureau files and tools including the Census Population Estimates Program and the American Factfinder system. Rural counts and percents for 2010 are available from the 2010 Decennial Census data and can be accessed by clicking on the link under Census 2010.
