This release features the addition of the 10th National Survey of Older Americans Act Participants data. Survey data are available in the Custom Tables section of AGID. Additional information related to the data is available in the Data Files section of AGID.

Beginning with 2015 Survey, the names of the data elements associated with post-stratified sample weights, Full and Replicate, have been changed from PSWGT and PSWGT1-PSWGT64 to PSTOTWGT and PSTOTWGT1 – PSTOTWGT64. These data are available in the Data Files section of AGID. Also available under this section are updates to the 2013 Caregiver Data Files and Documentation. The questions related to the physical condition of the caregivers were expanded to include the following data elements: CGDISBB7 (Cancer and Tumors), CGDISBB8 (Mental Health), and CGDISBB9 (Eye Problems). The 2008-2009 and 2011-2012 Caregiver Data Files and Documentation will be updated similarly in an upcoming release.

The questions related to sexual orientation, which were piloted in the 2014 Survey, remain unavailable for viewing or downloading. ACL continues to work on refining the questions (with other experts in the field), adjusting the sample size and obtaining an acceptable level of standard error measurement. Once these are accomplished, ACL intends to make data about the sexual orientation of service recipients available.
